The National Trappers Foundation a 501(c)(3) educational based foundation, is posting a request for resumes for the position of Development Coordinator.

NTF is seeking an individual with excellent people skills, marketing experience, and willingness to travel. Among the responsibilities for this position is recruiting partners throughout the United States to host banquets, soliciting donations, and general fundraising.

The position provides monthly-based pay plus commissions. This position is a contract position.

Furbearer Ecology Workshop
Working Hand-in-Hand With Trapper Associations and Wildlife Agencies

A Furbearer Ecology Workshop designed for college students was a grant recipient of National Trappers Foundation. In coordination with Wisconsin DNR and and Wisconsin Trappers Association, the program later became a focal point for other fish and game agencies across the country.
Ohio River Otter
Tracking River Otter in Ohio - A Joint Venture with Multiple Agencies

Funding from National Trappers Foundation assisted with the monitoring of reintroduced River Otter populations allowing 37 otter to be tracked and and radio marked in the Killbuck Watershed, one of the largest wetlands complex in Ohio.
Delta Waterfowl Survey
Multi-Year Investigation With Delta Waterfowl Predator Study

Involving 28 projects across North America, National Trappers Foundation assisted with the study of how increasing densities of ducks influence recruitment and how predator management affects duck populations.
Montana Beaver Reintroduction
Beaver Reintroduction in Southwestern Montana

NTF provided financial assistance to Montana Division of Game, Fish & Parks, US Forest Service and the Montana Trappers Association to assist with the reintroduction of beaver in the Gallatin River system. Beaver were historically an important component of the ecosystem, however beaver had been absent from the drainage for decades.
Pine Marten Research
Pine Marten Habitat Research - Old Grown vs. New Timber

This was a cooperative study between the University of Montana, U.S. Forest service and FBU, to document Pine Martin habitat preferences, home range, behavior, and relationships to old growth timber versus new growth timber.
Iowa Bobcat Study
Iowa Bobcat Study to Help Determine Potential Season

This project helps answer questions with regard to the distribution, landscape ecology, and population dynamics of Iowa's bobcat population.
